Jacquez was a handsome, funny, loving guy. He loved his family very much, both biological and adopted. He loved his pets,  scary movies, anime, and music. He loved to shoot pool with his mom and dad, as well as his aunts and uncle.  He played football at Westside HS. He was active in church with his parents. He dreamed of one day working in a veterinary clinic. 

On the early morning hours of October 17th, 2020, someone knocked on his apartment door in the Arlington area of Jacksonville, he answered, and was subsequently shot and killed.
